Healing Roots was created with the intent to address the unique experiences of minority communities. Healing roots provides mental health services and life coaching to address generational trauma which run rampant within the African – American and other minority communities. Healing Roots is a safe place where all are welcome to take part in healing through community and work.]

Mission Statement

The mission of Healing Roots is to help destigmatize mental health, emotional well-being, and overall life improvement through treatment in the minority community and instill a renewed sense of understanding of family, societal, and economical trauma.

Meet The Owner

Denae Williams, LMFT and Life Coach

Denae Williams received her undergraduate degree in in Psychology from California Polytechnic University, Pomona while competing on the women's basketball team in 2016. She went on to work primarily with severely emotionally disturbed children in level 14 locked psychiatric facilities in California. Denae went back to earn her Master of Arts Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University Worldwide in 2018. She moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2019 and worked for the Department of Family Services as a permanency specialist working with children, parents, and foster parents. Denae became a licensed state intern in the state of Nevada in 2021 where she worked with seriously emotional disturbed children in psychiatric facilities, seriously mentally ill adults in outpatient settings, and in local emergency rooms around the city of Las Vegas becoming fully licensed in 2024. Denae's passion for working with all types of people lead her to also gain accreditation as a Life Coach specializing in women's issues, self-esteem, and trauma. Denae is especially focused on issues plaguing the African American and Latinx communities.

Life gets busy. Here at Healing Roots we strive to make mental health services accessible to all because everyone deserves mental wellness regardless of your circumstances. Healing roots services individuals, couples, and families of all ages. Virtual therapy is currently available via a secure platform while we work toward a physical address.

Life Coaching

Feeling stuck? Reach out to us to set up virtual or community based life coaching sessions. Group life coaching sessions available as well per demand.
